Gor Mahia have signed Congolese striker Yangayay Sando Sando on a one-year. Yangayay is a former Zambian side Lupopo FC striker and has been club-less for the last two years. However, Gor Mahia have settled for Yangayay as the replacement for South Sudanese striker Tito Okello and Burundian Jules Ulimwengu who left the club.
Gor Mahia have started off to an impressive start after they beat last season's second place finishers in a 2:1 win. Bearing in mind the number of new signings that had been brought to the team, there was only one result that could be expected and that's exactly what they did.New signings such as Peter Lwasa, Yangayay and Bonface Omondi were in the initial starting line up while goalkeeer Adama Keita was an unused substitute.
