Photo of a General Service Unit( GSU) cadet who died while in the line of duty emerged online leading to a panic mood among Kenyans. According to the source, family, friends, and the entire National police service fraternity are thrown into mourning following the sudden death of their love.
It was a sad day to Friends, relatives and colleagues following demise of General Service Unit (GSU) Wycliffe Geresa while undergoing swimming training session at the GSU training school in Embakasi. Wycliffe lost his life after he drowned on Wednesday. Wycliffe sunk into the pool and was rescued by the swimming pool attendant and rushed to hospital where he was unfortunately pronounced death on arrival.
A sombre mood has been witnessed at the Embakasi General Service Unit (GSU) as an GSU cadet drowns while undertaking a swimming lesson with his colleagues. Wycliffe Geresa, the deceased aged 37, had gone swimming with his colleagues in swimming pool about 5 kilometres from the Embakasi training school to have some fun only to meet his death.
Recently there has been cases of police officers losing their lives either by committing suicide or by unforeseen circumstances. In the news hitting the headlines for today, a General Service Unit cadet has lost his life after drowning in a swimming pool in Embakasi. Wycliffe Geresa was undergoing swimming lessons alongside his fellow cadets at the Embakasi GSU training school before he met his death after swimming for about five kilometres.
