The fire had been started by an unknown source as it razed down the Dormitory where the students slept and efforts by the Kakamega County Fire Department to put it out proved futile.
Kakamega Highschool parents will now have time to breath after the Kakamega High Court ruled in their favour. The parents were supposed to provide their children with over ksh.9,000 during reporting day so that the amount could be used to repair the dormitory that was destroyed by fire. [Photo Courtesy]
