It has been 26 long years since Australia's Wallabies won against New Zealand at the Eden Park, and today wasn't any different as New Zealand steadily and ruthlessly worked their way to a routine victory in front of a fully parked Stadium. The game was off to a slow start, the first score of the match coming 20 minutes into the first half, with Richie Mo'unga converting a penalty to hand New Zealand the lead.
This was the hundredth time the two sides were meeting in a rugby 15s test match. Will Jordan opened the scoring early in the game with a try in the third minute, which was converted by Jordie Barrett. South Africa's winger Sbu Nkosi, scored a try for his side but Flyhalf Handre Pollard missed the conversion.
