Azimio's Deputy President designate Martha Karua was today forced to end her speech at Kinoru Stadium, Meru County prematurely after hitting out at their competitors over the development track records while drumming support for Azimio flag bearer Raila Odinga. Karua took to the podium after Azimio Chief Minister to be Kalonzo Musyoka had just completed his speech at the event which attracted a mammoth crowd.

Senators disagreed on the validity of the Political Parties Amendment Bill 2021 on the second day of the special session on Wednesday. However the bill has been passed by the senate. House Majority Leader Samuel Poghisio, who introduced the bill, argued that it was long overdue and would streamline the activities of political parties across the country.
