Electricity in Kenya has announced it will continue to lose power tomorrow, Sunday, July 31, 2022. As a result, the report states that parts of the country are expected to be without power from 9 a.m. morning to 5 pm. Areas of Nairobi, Migori and Kiambu counties topped the list.

Sources indicate that Chaos have erupted after the said operators blocked the main entrance to the express way. According to Kenya Power and Lighting Company the following areas will experience very long blackout tomorrow; In Nairobi County the areas to be affected include; pangani shopping center, parts of Waiyaki way, Nairobi West, Parts of South C as from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Sad development as businessman knocked dead by overspeeding car along Waiyaki way,Nairobi County. The deceased was crossing the busy road only to be knocked down by the m overspeeding car at around 11:43am. The accident before Kangemi happened few minutes before left many motorists in shock.

Scores of injuries reported after supermetro bus overturned along Waiyaki way, Nairobi County. This is according to the Facebook post by Ma3route Kenya on Wednesday morning. "accident along Waiyaki way just at the start of expressway.Supermetro has turned, passengers injured," the post read out.
Nairobi Expressway is currently open for the public. Those that can use this toll highway are drivers who have registered with the Moja Expressway Company and by 14th May when the 27.1km road was opened for the public, 11,000 car owners had already registered with the company to use the road.
