Students Drains Petrol From School Vehicles to Burn Dormitory Leading to School Closure, 13 Arrested
Following a fire incident at Kerugoya Girls Secondary School which happened on Sunday, over ninety students lost their belongings which were burnt inside a 160-student capacity dormitory. The school which has a population of 1,200 learners was closed yesterday following the fire incident. It has been disclosed that 40 girls inhaled carbon from smoke and were taken to the hospital for medication but were all in good condition and were later allowed to go home.
