Many student who did KCSE 2020 and other years before have been anxiously waiting for KUCCPS to release their placement results ,Kuccps today announced that the results will be released on mid august 2021. More than 500,000 students are set to join various universities, colleges and TVET under government sponsorship, the ministry of education said that all students who did KCSE between the year 2002 and 2020 will be considered for placement so long as they have never benefitted from government scholarship before.
There has been a rising conflict between the management and students in different high institutions of learning.The country has been having cases of students striking in different universities, colleges and TVET institutions at different times of the year.Students and administration need to solve the problems arising in the universities before they escalate to the point of striking.
The Higher Education Loans Board (HELB) made a major announcement to various categories of students in universities and colleges. The ministry of Education under Prof George Magoha had announced that going forward all boarding primary schools will be abolished in Kenya. In a statement that was released by the ministry, Magoha said that there was no need for boarding in primary schools as learners can take their studies and retire home in the evenings.

(Courtesy photo) According to his recent post, he said they will build a TVET institutions in Kiambaa constituency which will absorb thousands of their youth, and equip them with the necessary skills to make them ready for the job market in the country.
Governor Jackson Mandago has advised the youth to focus on studying for courses that are currently in high demand. Through this, Mandago said, it will be easier for them to get employment once they graduate. Speaking during the launch of sensitization of TVETS, in Chemundu, Chesumei constituency, Nandi County, the county boss further asked the youths to also study for courses that they will be able to self-employ, in the event they fail to get formal employment.
The Kenya University and Colleges Central Placement Service is a state corporation that deals selection of students to higher learning institutions such as the universities, colleges, TVET. In Kenya, the first revision was a successful as most of the students stood a chance to be placed in a government sponsored institution.

The institution gives out Ksh. 35,000 at minimum to students in both TVETs and Universities. The amount varies depending on the courses that the beneficiaries pursue. Medicine students may get up to eighty thousand kenyan shillings.
