Safaricom private limited company, a giant telecommunications service provider which boasts of the highest number of customers and services in Kenya and East Africa, has announced shutdown for some eight services to pave way for their system upgrade. In a notice published in local dailies, Safaricom has notified customers that a total of eight services including product purchase, that involves: purchase of data bundles, purchase of free minutes, and sms, Okoa Jahazi which allow customer to borrow airtime for calls and SMS or data purchases, Tunikiwa which gives daily offers on calls and SMS, Balance enquiry that allows customers to know their airtime balance, Bonga points services, all postpaid services, and Home fibre services will not be available starting from 21st August 2021 at 10PM to 22nd August 2021 8AM.
Safricom is one of the most common communication network provider in Kenya today hence several people depend on so to operate there personal businesses. From there latest update they have took to share a warning to there customers as some of there services will be unavailable starting Saturday. They will be upgrading there systems so as to increase there capacity in line with customers growth and support so as to meet different needs of there customers.
