The Government is changing the Education system with a hope of changing the lives of the millions of students in the country.The new system is expected to instill practical skills rather than promotion of rote knowledge in the society. As the Government changes the Education system,teachers too have to be updated since they are the ones who are supposed to implement the curriculum.The TTCs are currently training the teachers on the new curriculum.This will see the teachers get trained for three years in a Diploma course.

Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) has opened the course application portal for candidates sitting for the 2021 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) candidates set to sit for their exams in March 2022. KUCCPS CEO Mercy Wahome stated that they had begun the application process after holding course sensitisation training among education stakeholders.
