A businessman was shot dead by armed gangsters in Enkopiriai in Angata Barrikoi area in the wee hours of Thursday morning. Confirming this incident, Narok County Police Commander Mr. John Kizito Mutoro said the businessman; Richard Nyambegera Mautia, 40 who runs a business in Oldonyolok trading centre was riding home on his motor-cycle with his 15-year-old son at around 1:30 am and on reaching his gate, an unknown number of assailants armed with rifles emerged from the bushes and shot him four times in the upper torso at a close range.
