Bank robberies are nothing to write home about. In fact, most of them end up in fatalities and monetary loss. Police have arrested a KK Security guard following a robbery that saw Sh2.3 million looted from Prime Bank, Nakuru branch. On the fateful day, the security guard, Tobias Juma, who was on duty, allegedly opened the main door of the bank for five armed robbers.
Recently there has been reports of a bank robbery that happened in Prime Bank Nakuru branch. The bank robbery which led to the looting of Ksh 2.3 million, led to sleuths initiating investigations into the criminal incident. However police have recovered certain items from the scene of the robbery.
Over the past few years, Kenya has experienced a couple of bank heist where armed robbers either storm the bank and steals money or some scale the wall to access the bank with extremes digging underground to get to their target. Just last year, a Local Bank along River Road felt victim of this after robbers stole money from the after digging beneath the bank.
Detectives in Nakuru are in pursuit of armed robbers who raided Prime Bank on Wednesday Evening in Nakuru. According to police report, the robbery incident which happened at 4pm led to the stealing of Ksh. 2.3 million. Detectives reports filed at Nakuru Central Police station say the gangs brandished in a home made firearm, knives, panga and a hammer before making their way into the banking facility's hall.
Recent report shows that five heavily armed robbers has raid the Nakuru branch of prime bank at the westside mall located along Nakuru's Kenyatta avenue and manged to walk away with 2.3 million Kenyan shillings.Following a police report that has been seen by the Nation,the robbers who were armed with home made gun,a hammer, knives and pangas forced their way into the banking hall where they held nine employee hostage before they mage away with the huge cash.
