Presidential candidate of the One Kenya Coalition Party, Raila Odinga, won more votes in Baringo County's Tiaty Constituency than his main rival, William Ruto of the UDA, according to exit polls. Odinga won with 25,282 votes, while Ruto only won with 5,708. This is a difference of 19,574.

Nominated Senator Hon Hezena Lemaletian gave her remarks on the bandits found in Tiaty constituency as she said that these Bandits are known and they are just in certain spot. She further revealed that even the Member of Parliament of Tiaty constituency knows that these Bandits are in a particular spot and it has been known to be a no gone zone as she pose a rhetorical question that "why are these Bandits immune to the arms of government?"
