The Teachers Service Commission has extended the recruitment of Teachers following the president's directive to hire at least 30,000 teachers by January 2023. The TSC has extended the recruitment by one week, which seems to br a relief to those who were not ready. The commission seeks to recruit 35,550 teachers in both public primary and secondary schools, where by 10,000 teachers will be employed on permanent, pensionable basis, while 25,550 will be on intern.
