Kenyans React as Government Rejects Bid By Tanzanian Tycoon to Set a Cooking Gas Plant in Kenya
Kenyan government has declined plans by a Tanzania billionaire to set up a gas plant and storage facility at the Mombasa Port something that might threaten future trade agreement between the two neighbouring countries. The energy regulator in Kenya has refused to clear the application by Taifa Gas which is owned by tycoon Rostam Aziz as they cite risks to the environment posed by the 30,000 tonnes gas plant.
