Retired Dutch striker Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink
Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink is a former professional footballer from the Netherlands. He was born on March 27, 1972, in Paramaribo, Suriname (then part of the Netherlands Antilles). Hasselbaink was known for his prolific goal-scoring ability and powerful shooting. He began his senior professional career at Telstar in 1990 and moved to AZ Alkmaar the following year. He played for a number of other clubs including Boavista where he won the Taca de Portugal, before signing for Leeds United in the summer of 1997. At
