David Rudisha Is Hospitalized After Involved In A Plane Crash
World 800m holder David Lekuta Rudisha is hospitalized after a plane crash on Saturday, December 10. Confirming the incident, Athletics Kenya official Barnaba Korir said the plane landed in the Imbirikana area of Amboseli. Korir confirmed that the Olympic champion was injured and being treated at Makindu Hospital.

The athlete, on the other hand, has narrowly avoided death after surviving two near-fatal accidents in the last three years. The recent accident occurred while the world 800m record holder was traveling to Nairobi from Kimana Wildlife Sanctuary with his colleagues, including Kenya Masters Athletics chairman Stephen Ole Marai, when their light aircraft crashed-landed in Amboseli's Imbirikana area.
