The Standard Media Group has made changes in its editorial department in a bid to reinforce its authority in the market as the country heads to the polls. In a memo seen, The Standard Group promoted several journalists in the raft of changes. Former Citizen TV Swahili editor and published author, Nahashon Shisia Wasilwa, has been hired as the Programme Editor in charge of KTN's Swahili desk.

Celebrated cartoonist Joshua Nanjero is dead.He died at the age of 50 years. Mr Nanjero, who worked with the Standard Group,was found dead inside his house on Friday 26 November 2021, after initial efforts by his supervisors and colleagues at work to reach him proved futile.
