Police in Bomet have reportedly detained a man who killed his neighbour last-night, over a Sh400 debt. As reported by DCI, Evans Mutai who owns a shop at Sibaiyan-location was arrested after he stabbed Festus Keter, 35-year-old, on the chest and went on to trade-merchandise at his premises unperturbed.
Evans Mutai , an owner of a shop at Sibaiyan Location in Bomet county is reportedly in police custody awaiting to be arraigned over murder. He was arrested yesterday for allegedly stabbing 35 year old Festus Keter over Kenya shillings 400 debt . According to the reports captured by the directorate of criminal investigations , Evans stabbed Festus on the chest and left him for death while continuing with his businesses undisturbed.
Residents of Sibaiyan Location in Bomet County were left in a rude shock after a shopkeeper hacked his friend to death over Ksh400 debt. Reports from the Director of Criminal Investigations(DCI) indicate that the two were involved in an altercation after the suspect sought to have his debt repaid.
