News of the family of deceased policewoman Caroline Kangogo handing over her two children to her estranged husband hit the headlines a few days ago. Mzee Barnabas and Selinah Korir handed over to their son-in-law Richard Ng’eno their grandson aged 11 and his 7-year-old sister. The two kids had been living with their grannies in Nyawa village, Elgeyo Marakwet County.
Parents of the late corporal Caroline Kagongo, Barnabas Korir and mother Selinah Korir have handed over the children to their father Richard Ng'eno. According to Kahawatungu news,the late parents came to an agreement and opted to place the late Kagongo's children to their father who had travelled to Kericho county.The two children had been living under the custody of their grandparents since their mother's death in Nyawa village in Elgeyo Marakwet county.
