What Detectives Found in The Pockets of Meru Officer Whose Body Was Found in a River
The body of Constable David Nyamweya, a police officer attached to Mutuati Police Station in Igembe North, was found floating in River Kathita, near Meru town. Nyamweya was involved in an incident where he shot his girlfriend six times back in August 2020. According to detectives who were at the crime scene, his identity was only revealed after they found an interdiction letter dated January 2, 2022, inside his pocket.
