Goverment To Inject KES 200M In The Textiles Industry In Support Of Cotton Farmers.
The Kenyan government is planning to spend over KES 200M to support cotton Farmers countrywide in a bid to increase production in the textile industry. This is according the permanent secretary in the ministry of industrialization Dr. Juma Mukhwana. As reported by The Horizon News, the Permanent Secretary said that the government has in the past three years invested KES 5B in the Rivatex Textile Mill.
