H.E Honarouble Cyprian Achilaus Otieno Awiti is the most educated from Nyanza region. He was born on 14 December 1952 in Rachuonyo Sub-County, Homabay. He is married to Rosilla Awiti. Mr. Awiti was elected the governor of Homabay county in 2015.He attended a local primary school at Mawego in Rachuonyo Sub-County.
