A 54-year-old chief reported missing found murdered and body dumped along the road, Bungoma County. The body of Timothy Nyongesa, 54, was found dumped in along Bungoma-Kisumu road by members of the public who alerted the police. Bungoma County police commander who confirmed the incident said atleast four accused persons have been nabbed over the murder. Eight-month baby is among four people who have perished in a grisly road accident that involved a boda boda operator and G4S Van. Julius Kyumbure, the Embu West Sub-county Police Commander said the Boda boda operator with his three pillion passengers, a woman and her two children, died on the spot.
Modern coast bus that was en route to Eldoret burst into flames with 50 people onboard, no casualties reported.
