Philip Onyancha is a middle-aged man reported to be the dangerous killer who confessed to having killed more than 18 women in 2009 in Kenya. According to reliable sources, Philip told the court that the killing that troubled him most was that of a woman identified as Hellen Nyambura.

Philip Onyancha, the killer who confessed to have killed 17 women between 2008 and 2009 has today been set free by the High Court. According to Judge Jessie Lessit, "There is no evidence that the accused (Onyancha) was the author of death of Jackline Chepngetich."
Philip Onyancha who went viral after he was accused of killing so many people was arrested and arraigned in court in the year 2008. At that time he had been accused of killing a young woman. Philip Onyancha the self confessed serial killer was released on Thursday 8th of July by the high court for lack of enough evidence.in a ruling by Justice Lessit the police did not have enough evidence to convict Onyancha.the Justice also went ahead and said that just or confessing in front of a camera in not enough evidence against such a crime.
