Earlier today, Sigalame High School in Busia County was indefinitely closed down a day after a fire incident occurred concurrently with a similar episode at Ofafa Jericho High School overnight. However, much concerns have now revolved around the Western region's incident which now seem to have turned habitual.

As accidents gets reported everyday, some people are very lucky to escape some tragic accidents. Just like today, the Sigalame High School Principal Mr. Peter Auma survived a road accident that occured at Lwanya area in Matayos, Busia County. The Principal sustained minor injuries after his car rolled down as he tried to avoid hitting pedestrians who were crossing the road.
