After recalling the passing of a well-known politician today, political analyst Mutahi Ngunyi received a lot of feedback. The Kiambaa MP, Paul Koinange passed away in 2017 after apparently experiencing problems from COVID-19. Analyst Mutahi Ngunyi has argued that the MP's cause of death was not COVID-19, despite the fact that the public was notified of this.
After the death of Paul Koinange who was the Member of Parliament for Kiambaa Constituency, a by-election was conducted. Seasoned politician Kariri Njama represented the Jubilee Party in the race. John Njuguna Wanjiku popularly known as Ka'Wanjiku successfully contested for the seat on a United Democratic Alliance Party ticket.
On Friday evening, Kiambaa Member of Parliament aspirant Damaris Wambui Waiganjo was handed a ticket by the Jubilee Party. The politician has been in politics for a while now, in 2021 he was interesting in contesting in the Kiambaa by-election.
