The Kenya School of Law is responsible for Training young future Court advocates in Kenya. The school offers their training for One and Half years of which students undertake Advocate Training Program Examination which afterwards qualifies one to becoming an advocates to Kenyan Courts. According to the research that was carried out by the Kenya Institute Public Policy Research Analysis (KIPPRA), the Kenya School of Law has been showing poor performance in the Advocate Training Program exams done by the candidates.
For the last few months, it has been bad for President Uhuru Kenyatta as the Courts have nullified almost all the decisions by President Uhuru Kenyatta. Deputy president William Ruto lawyer has blasted the Attorney General Paul Kihara for what he termed as misadvising president Uhuru Kenyatta and went ahead to urge to resign. Via his twitter account immedietly after the high court declared the Nairobi Metropolitan Service(NMS) unconstitutional and violation to the law, outspoken lawyer Ahmednasir Abdullahi alleged that President Uhuru Kenyatta lost the case because his legal team led by the AG Paul Kihara misadvised him.
The Building Bridges Initiative(BBI) was started by President Uhuru Kenyatta and the former Prime Minister Raila Odinga. It dominated Kenyan politics for nearly two years and it was linked by many as a way of succeeding the President in 2022. Those who criticized the initiative said that it was a selfish motive to reward the dynasties.
High Court ruled BBI process as unconstitutional and the proponents of the document went to court of appeal to challenge the rulling. On 29th the court of appeal started the process of hearing the appeal which it's is expected to give a ruling by Friday. Attorney general "Paul Kihara " said that Kenyans should be given chance to decide by themselves on matters about BBI.
Martha Karua, the leader of the Narc Kenya party, has stated that President Uhuru Kenyatta cannot be both the accuser and the judge in the appointment of judges. Karua insisted that Attorney General Paul Kihara advise the President to follow court orders and appoint the six judges whose names had not been gazetted.

Attorney General Paul Kihara has once again found himself being at the centre of critisism by a section of law makers and leaders.
