Toward the end of his life the apostle Paul wrote, "Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am the worst (1 Timothy 1:15)." It seems shocking to think of the apostle describing himself that way, and some would even call it false humility.
This scripture has been misunderstood to imply that having children automatically merits salvation for all women. Paul wraps up his discussion of the duties of men and women in the church in First Timothy 2:15, which he began in verse 11. It is a verse that is notoriously challenging and has a wide range of possible readings.
He reaffirms God’s love for us. In Paul’s letters to the churches, he is trying to help other Christians grow spiritually. He knows what has been essential in his relationship with the Father, and he wants others to experience that same blessing.

The Bible says in Ephesians 6:10 that the believer is to “... be strong in the Lord, and the power of his might.” You hear folks say, "Well, I'm trying to be strong." But the Bible doesn't say a thing in the world about being strong in yourself.

One of those "warning verses" cited by those who disagree with the notion of the believer's eternal security is Galatians 5:4, which speaks about falling from grace. However, since true Christians cannot fall from grace once they have received it, we know the warnings cannot be directed at them because of the biblical teaching of the perseverance of the saints.

But we need to be intertwined with one another, always there to support and protect our fellow brother and sister in Christ.
In First Corinthians 9:27, Paul was saying, "I keep my body under the subjection of my spirit." That means Paul didn't let his body do everything it wanted to do. If the Apostle Paul, this great man of God who wrote much of the New Testament, had to keep his body under the dominion of his spirit, evidently his body must have wanted to do things that weren't right.
