Taking to his Twitter account on Thursday few minutes past 10pm, Kibicho noted that Kenyans should reflect on what the country had achieved since attaining independence, adding that those who were part of the struggle ought to be celebrated.

The controversial land dispute in the 50,000-acre Chakama Ranch in the Shakahola Forest continues to gather pace.The owners of Chakama Ranch Limited, under the leadership of their directors, have come forward to claim ownership of the land. According to documents seen by Citizen Digital, title deed number 17503 issued on December 1, 1984 by the former West Malindi authority, now Kilifi County, shows their ownership of 100,000 acres under Chakama Ranch Limited.
