The tragic accident happened early Monday morning when a Kenyan registered Isuzu lorry driver drifted from his side and hit an oncoming V8 landcruiser which was ferrying the member of Parliament and his wife at Naboa Town along Mbale Tirinyi road.According to The Daily Monitor the head-on collision resulted into Serere County Mp dying on the spot.His wife Christine Okabe and the driver were quickly rushed to Mbale Region Referral Hospital but the wife was declared dead on arrival while the driver is in a critical condition.The driver of the Isuzu box is said to be on the run as police continue combing everywhere in search of him.
