Matatu Owners Issue 2 Fresh Demands as Gachagua, Sakaja Row Continues
As Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua and Governor Johnson Sakaja sparred over the phase-out of matatus, the Matatu Owners Association urged for the implementation of a cashless system in Nairobi's public transportation. The association's CEO, Patricia Mutheu, indicated that the move would benefit the transportation system by making it seamless in an interview that aired on NTV on January 11th.

Today, the CEO of the Matatu Owners Association, Patricia Mutheu, she had sided with the deputy president, Rigathi Gachagua over Sakaja's latest directives about the Matatus operating at the CBD.
