A section of residents of Parklands area are up in arms protesting against the construction of a building which they claim wasn’t properly approved. In a protest letter to the National Construction Authority (NCA), through Wageni & Company LLP, the residents raised a complaint about the establishment of a residential apartments at City Park Drive off Limuru Road.

A man by the name Mark Ambeyi Mutongoi has been charged at a Nairobi court for secretly recording Margret Wangari while she was in washroom.The incident happened when Margret Stopped in Rubis pertol station to fill her tank along Ojiji Road at 10p.m.She then decided to refresh herself in the washrooms where Mark decided to follow her and placed his cellphone next to the window where he recorded her but luckily enough the incidence was captured by the CCTV camera.

The incident happened in Nairobi's Parklands area where the drama ensued before he was arrested after causing serious injuries to the officer. The man who was identified as Evans Matundura had been requested by a security guard at the petrol station to park his car aside.

600 hundred families have been left without homes this morning after the government destroyed their homes in parklands,in a raided incident last night bulldozers brought down houses which were few kilometers from the road,according to authorities residents were given a notice few months earlier but they defied to move,houses which were being demolished today are said to have hindering the connection of Limuru road to Waiyaki way highway which had stalled,however despite being the notice it has been disclosed that each time they were warned they did not take the notice with seriousness.

Isaac Njoroge Peter is accused of committing the offence on August 11 along Mpaka road in Westlands sub-county within Nairobi. A man was fatally injured after a building under construction along Parklands 5th Avenue collapsed. On Thursday, October 7, the incident left several other people nursing injuries at various health facilities in the city. Police and other rescue workers moved in to help in the search and rescue mission of any persons trapped in the building's debris.
