On Thursday,24th September 2020 Deputy President William Ruto was visited by guests from the Coastal region at his Karen residence. The guests includes Msambueni aspirant Feisak Abdallah Bader in the company of Members of Parliament from coast area among them Nyali's Mohammed Ali,Lungalunga's Khatib Mwashetani,Malindi's Aisha Jumwa,Lamu East's Athman Shariff and Kilifi North's Owen Mbaya. The DP held meeting implying he is backing a candidate for the Msambueni by-election despite the ruling Jubilee Party backing
