At one time, Anthony Omari worked as a caretaker at the Faraja Children's home in Kibera. Over thirty-seven orphans were living there at that point. The room where Antony was sleeping was broken into on that fateful night, and his possessions were stolen. They then made their way to the room where the children were sleeping, but not before Mr. Omari struck one of the intruders with a hammer to defend his family's possessions.

Anthony Omari used to work at the Faraja Children's home in Kibera, where he looked after orphans. There were 37 orphans living in the facility. That particular night, burglars broke into the room Anthony was staying in and stole his belongings. Mr. Omari decided to defend the sleeping children by using a hammer to attack one of the intruders as soon as he heard the door open.
