Honourable Obado stated,"tumefanya ya kutosha na hakuna faida Tumepata" which loosely translates to we have participated in many demonstrations yet there is nothing we have benefitted.He alleged that no one will participate in the demonstrations.Someone else stated that demonstration is not a solution and the people are tired and they do not want demonstrations.He added by saying that the only thing that they want is development since the campaign period is over.
Okoth Obado is the former governor for Migori County. He served as the county boss for two terms. He first worn the seat as an independent candidate in 2017 and later joined ODM party that helped him clinch the seat for the second time in 2017 general elections.
