Canada based lawyer Miguna Miguna has cleared the air over his real place of birth, saying he was not born in Nyakach. The controversial lawyer who was dramatically deported from the country in 2018, has said he was born in a village called Magina within the Kano Plains in Kisumu County, in the Nyanza region.
The mysterious death of an 8 days old infant in Nyakach Sub-County in Kisumu County has now caught the attention of the DCI who have since decided to investigate the issue to ascertain what could have led to it. It is said that the child died shortly after his parents together with the Nomiya Church elders held a ceremony in which the child was circumcised.

Residents of Nyakach, Kisumu County on Wednesday found the body of a 37-year-old bicycle mechanic who was reported missing for four days. A village in Nyakach in Kisumu County is mourning the death of a new born who apparently lost his life while undergoing the circumcision rights conducted by the family’s church elder. The ceremony was conducted by Nomiya Church in Kaloo Village, Sigoti. The baby was buried on the same day.
