Senator Irungu Kang'ata, one of his close allies, was responsible for this. On Monday, July 10, lawyer Kang'ata appeared for the National Lands Commission (NLC) and opposed a plan devised by Weston Hotel to halt the proceedings before the Environment and Lands Court.
