A mathematics teacher at St John's Secondary School, Sikinwa in Saboti, is nursing head and neck injuries after three students attacked him. Nicholas Bett says he was ambushed by the Form Four students on Saturday night as he went to an outside latrine. The students emerged from a maize plantation near the teacher's home a few metres away from the school and attacked him with a blunt object.

Nicholas Bett a Maths teacher at St John's Highschool was attacked by his students who ambushed his resident which is adjacent to the day and boarding school at around 7:30pm in the evening yesterday. It is reported that the students struck Bett with a blunt object on his neck thus leaving the teacher with no resistance and landed on him with blows and kicks.
