The main suspect in the murder of eight-year-old Kitengela girl, Shantel Nzembi has been held for one week for police to complete their investigations. The suspect identified as Nativity Mutindi will remain detained at Kitengela police station after the prosecution successfully lodged an application at the Kajiado law courts.

Athi River police arrested a 30-year-old suspect in connection with the murder of Shantel Nzembi, an 8-year-old girl who went missing on May 29 and whose body was discovered in a gunny bag.
