A Kenyan politician is counting losses after he was trailed by assailants who robbed him Ksh 1 million he had withdrawn from a local bank on Friday, December 3 with police detectives now launching a manhunt against the perpetrators. Kuya Ole Kijabe, the Member of County Assembly for Kimindet ward in Trans Mara South detailed how he was trailed by a black vehicle immediately he had left a Narok-based bank and ambushed before he was robbed of the cash.
A 32-year-old chief on Thursday commited suicide his lifeless body found dangling on wardrobe inside his house. Police have launched investigations into the incident seeking to find out how the youthful officer meet his death. The deceased, Kelvin Kioko Musila’s lifeless body was discovered in the house by his father on Thursday morning.

An Occurrence Book (OB) number shared on Friday, December 3, detailed that, Kuya Ole Kijabe, the Member of County Assembly (MCA) for Kimindet Ward in Transmara South, was followed by a black motor vehicle prior to being ambushed and robbed of the money.The MCA, while reporting the case at Narok Police Station, expressed that he was accompanied by his driver to the bank on Wednesday evening, December 1.

However, his condition worsened and was taken to a nearby local hospital only to be pronounced dead.

The victim booked a lodging on Saturday evening and was later joined by his girlfriend. It was all good until Brian (not his real name) complained of difficulty in breathing and before long started sweating after which he passed away. Five students of Maasai Mara University were arrested on Tuesday following protests along Narok-Bomet road. According to reports, the students were demonstrating at the institution's main campus against the recklessness of bodaboda riders. It is reported that during the demonstration the students blocked the busy road.
