Director-General of Nairobi Metropolitan Services (NMS) Mohammed Badi has issued an ultimatum to Nairobi landlords to repaint their properties or face a daily fine of Ksh1,500. The landlords have sixty days to comply with the decree or face fines, according to Badi. He added that the order is consistent with county ordinances and the public health cap, which require property owners to repaint their structures every two years.
