After Kenyans sent alarm on the poor drainage on Mombasa Road and Uhuru Highway where after raining,it was a pool of water with vehicles forced to blindly crossover,the government has reacted swiftly to salvage the situation. According to Kenya National Highways Authority,KeNHA through their Twitter handle,the authority has revealed that Nairobi Expressway project team has dispatched excavators to open up the drainage and dredging in the affected sections.
Since Friday night, Nairobi City has been experiencing heavy rainfall. Several sections along Mombasa have experienced flashy floods that has left many motorists stranded and several of them counting losses after their motor vehicles got stuck.
