Five people died on the spot and eight others seriously injured in an accident involving a 14-seater matatu. The accident took place after the matatu which was headed towards to Nairobi from Eldoret lost control, and overturned in Sachangwan area on the Nakuru-Eldoret highway. Preliminary police findings show that the driver was speeding when the accident occurred.
