The incident occurred in Lamu county and the police report says the two men were on the night patrol led by the village elder Mr Samuel Ngumi.
Officers attached to the DCI in Lamu county have arrested two men for allegedly tricking a mentally challenged lady into satisfying their personal needs at night. The men are said to have slept with the lady in turns before one of them vacated the room after finishing his session.
Senior Sergeant Martin Murimi and Police Constable Albert Kimutai, who were apprehended by the multi-agency team, are attached to Sawagongo Police Post and Yala Police Station respectively. This was after DCI and County Criminal Investigation Officer in Kisumu revised a CCTV footage that hold evidence against the two Officers.
Speaking at the crime scene,with his eyes full of tears, Murimi,said that, him together with other neighbours could not help Joel Muthike out, as the he chased them away using a panga and stood by the entrance to watch the house as reduces to ashes.
Police Detectives have arrested two men in Lamu after they shamefully forced themselves on a mentally handicapped woman on Monday morning at the Sina Mbio area in a deserted house.
