Hosts Qatar First To Be Eliminated From The World Cup
Senegal registered their first win in the world cup, after beating hosts Qatar 3-1. The African Champions showed their class in the match when Dia grabbed the opener for Senegal in the frist half. Diedhiou added his name to the scoresheet with his team's second. Qatar pulled a goal back thanks to a Muntari strike but the game belonged to the African side as Dieng added Senegal's third.
