Nzioka Waita who is a Former State House Chief of Staff has disclosed a special oath that Kalonzo Musyoka allegedly took at the late President Daniel Moi's Kabarak home. Waita claimed that the Wiper party leader took the oath to unite the Kamba nation, when he was handed over the leadership mantle by the Mulu Mutisya.
Kalonzo Musyoka's announcement during yesterday's press briefing has attracted a lot of criticism from his own people who have told him to forget about them. A few moments after announcing the great meeting which will happen at his Yatta farm in Machakos, Kivutha Kibwana and Alfred Mutua started booing him telling him to forget about what he is thinking.
Mulu Mutisya had been one of the celebrated politicians from the Ukambani area. He had been among few legislators from the region who were respected and won the former president Moi's heart. However, it happened that one day President Moi toured Ukambani, Mulu moved the crowd on stage with his stunning broken Swahili speech.
Waita has claimed in a statement that when Kalonzo was given the leadership mantle by the Mulu Mutisya, he took an oath to unite the Kamba nation. Mutisya, a veteran politician from Ukambani with close ties to Moi, introduced the former Vice President as Moi's preferred successor, according to him.
