JUST IN: Drama as Two Armed Pokot Bandits Run For Their Lives After ASTU & RDU Cops Pounced On Them

There was drama in the Loyapat area along Lodwar-Kitale Highway after bandits who had stolen livestock ran for their dear lives after police officers went after them. National Police Service revealed that on Tuesday, 27 December 2022, at 1830 hrs, officers from the Anti-Stock Theft Unit (ASTU) and Rapid Deployment Unit (RDU) were on their normal routine patrol along the busy along Lodwar-Kitale Highway at the KWS section before they received a report that bandits had attacked and stolen livestock within Loyapat area.

A notorious criminal believed to have been terrorising residents in Huruma and Kariobangi has been arrested as police intensify a crackdown on marauding city gangs. While on a patrol, the Multi-Agency security team in Nairobi arrested Dickson Gatonga Njeri following intelligence reports from members of the public. Gitonga was nabbed by detectives along Outer Ring Road.

One of the most wanted muggers in the capital was arrested on Saturday after detectives went after him after receiving intelligence about him. It has been confirmed Dickson Gatonga Njeri was arrested on Saturday along Outer Ring Road. The Multi-Agency security team was carrying the usual patrol along the road when they received information that the mugger was in the place.

It is reported that today the 27/12/2022 at 1830 hrs, NPS Officers (ASTU and RDU) patrolling along Lodwar-Kitale Highway at KWS section responded to a stocktheft report by one Mr Peter Mario,a resident of Loyapat that two armed bandits suspected to be Pokot raiders confronted his herdsmen at Loyapat area while grazing in a field and stole 47 of his livestock (goats/sheep).

KCSE 2021: Cheating on national Exam resulted in the cancellation of 441 contestants' results.

Due to exam irregularities, Education Cabinet Secretary George Magoha on Saturday revoked the results of 441 KCSE 2021 applicants. During the tests, 203 students were found to have forbidden materials, 203 students were found to have mobile phones, and eight students were found to have impersonated candidates.
