Together with Nyeri Deputy Governor H.E David Kinaniri, we were grateful to honour and crown a hero Mr. James Ngarariga Kagambi (KG), a Kenyan from Nyeri who became the first Kenyan to summit Mt. Everest last year. Kagambi was in a group of seven black Africans, who reached the highest point on earth by climbing Mount Everest located in the Himalayan Mountains between Nepal and Tibet in Asia on 12th May, 2022.
