Trouble is looming in DP Ruto's political camp after MP Moses Kuria unveiled the Chama Cha Kazi candidate to face-off with United Democratic Alliance's Simon Kiambi Ngaruni in the upcoming Kiagu by-election in Meru. Through a press release they shared on their social media platforms, the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) notified the general public that the Kiagu ward by-election which was scheduled to take place on 14th October, 2021 has been suspended till further notice. The decision came after the High Court of Kenya prohibited the commission from printing ballot papers until a case filed by in high court by aspirant, Milton Mwenda of Chama Cha Kazi which is associated with the Gatundu South lawmaker, Hon.
